DHS Self Help Grant 2014

ADDE has currently applied for a grant from DHS to run some attitudinal change workshops at the local Government level and we are waiting for the outcome of this application.

National Employment Services Australia (NESA)

In 2013 ADDE received some funding from the Department of Social Services through NESA to carry out a research project of the Disability Employment Services (DES) programs. This project is well underway and will be completed in June 2014.

ANZ Trustees

ADDE received funding from the Percy and Ruby Haddy Trust through the grants program of the ANZ trustees to carry out a research project on the transition to work for graduates with disabilities. The full report can be read on the PUBLICATIONS link.

Disability Self Help Grants

We have been successful in receiving a small grant from Department of Human Services (DHS) to assist us with newsletter production, on developmental work on our website, on developing disability friendly print formats and obtaining interpreters for hearing impaired.

Having tried to get help from outside organizations without any funds we have fallen back on our own resources. The expertise of our new committee members we hope will have us online soon.

Social Enterprise Grant - June 2007

ADDE has received funding from DVC (Department of Victorian Communities) under their "Social Enterprise Program" to develop a business plan. We are looking at ways to undertake this process in a participatory way and to also develop skills and training for people from our disability and diversity target groups who are unemployed or under employed, who can take the business plan forward into the future. Will keep you posted as thinking and ideas translate more into reality.
