Partnering for Success Disability Employment Workshop testimonials
Deakin University
It was terrific to have such a diverse group of managers/supervisors and HR colleagues in the room and my team will use this as the start of a conversation about a deliberate strategy to increase employment opportunities for people with disability across Deakin, and to retain current staff who have or acquire a disability at their maximum levels of wellbeing and productivity.
Barwon Water
The facilitators brought their own personal insight and wealth of knowledge to engage with a cross section of the organisation which has inspired and motivated us to champion activities to support our Disability Action Plan and other activities. This workshop was the ideal opportunity to: build awareness and knowledge of barriers; and identify and implement strategies aimed at removing barriers to employment and access to Barwon Water’s services and facilitates for people with a disability.
